About Craig

Business growth experience. A focus on people.

Hi, I’m Craig Mills, founder of Purpose Driven Growth Co.

My background spans almost 25 years across financial services, professional services, pastoral ministry and counselling. I’ve worked with founders, business owners, leaders and teams across consulting, business growth and commercial development, helping people clarify direction and put ideas into action.

I’ve also supported individuals and families through personal difficulties and significant change. This breadth shapes my coaching: I understand commercial pressures while staying attentive to the person behind the role—their values, relationships and sense of purpose.

My own next chapter

After leaving my corporate role in late 2025, I found myself asking: “What comes next?”

I wanted to bring my experience into work that reflected my values and allowed me to support people in a more personal way. That meant taking time to reconsider what success looked like for me—and making room for purpose, wellbeing and the people who matter most.

Purpose Driven Growth Co grew from that reflection. It brings together my experience in business and leadership with my commitment to coaching and personal growth.

How I approach coaching

My neuroscience-informed coaching focuses on helping you understand the thinking patterns, habits and responses that influence how you work, lead and navigate everyday life.

Together, we explore what matters to you, where you feel stuck and what you would like to change. We then turn that understanding into practical steps you can try, reflect on and build upon.

You might be navigating leadership pressure, reconsidering your career, working on boundaries or looking for greater clarity about your next chapter. My role is to bring thoughtful questions, perspective and support while respecting your experience and choices.

Space for the whole person

Our work, relationships and personal experiences do not sit neatly apart. I bring an awareness of that connection to the way I work with people.

My background in counselling also informs the care and attention I bring to conversations. Coaching and counselling offer different kinds of support, and I believe in being clear about the purpose of our work together and what best suits your needs.

What matters to me

I value curiosity, respect, honest conversation and meaningful action.

I want you to feel heard, have room to think and be able to explore difficult questions without feeling pressured to have all the answers. Growth can involve challenge, but it also takes patience and a willingness to learn as you go.

For me, purpose is something we express through the choices we make—in our work, our relationships and the way we live.
